Introducing the latest RDM innovation in small document imaging, the EC6000i. The EC6000i is a cost-effective, feature rich, imaging solution for Electronic Check Conversion including Point-of-Purchase (POP), Accounts Receivable Conversion (ARC), and Represented Check (RCK). RDM's EC6000i imager provides superior MICR read accuracy, crisp clear images, and a bi-directional document drive positioning the EC6000i as one of the most versatile and reliable products in the marketplace.
Standard on the EC6000i is RDM's proprietary Progressive MICR Method. The Progressive MICR Method is an RDM innovation that allows our imagers to scan the MICR line and capture the image in a single pass with unsurpassed accuracy. The 'single pass' capability of the EC6000i has enabled it to read and process the MICR line in under two seconds while performing substitute prevention and reject repair. For maximum recognition, performance, and accuracy the EC6000i can also be equipped with OCR MICR assist. As well as magnetically reading the MICR line, OCR MICR assist will optically read the MICR line improving EC6000i's read rate to virtually 100%. RDM's Progressive MICR Method and optional OCR MICR assist firmly establishes the EC6000i as the industry leader in MICR read accuracy.
In addition to its superior standard features, the EC6000i also offers a wide variety of optional features such as franking acknowledgment, magstripe reader, a thermal printer and USB and Ethernet connectivity. When the automated franking acknowledgment option is selected the EC6000i will print a fixed text message on the front face of the check. The EC6000i franking acknowledgment printer facilitates the requirement for check defacement in one simple process increasing efficiency which is vital in the POP environment. The modular design of the EC6000i, including optional components such as a three stripe magstripe reader, thermal printer, USB and Ethernet connectivity, makes it possible for EC6000i to be completely customized for any application requirement or ECC environment.
